GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RENTAL

 

BOOKİNG CONDITIONS

 

Vehicles and vehicle groups the basis of the reservation request is committed, the car brand and model confirmation will not  be given. Reservations can be cancelled before 24 hours. If this time is passed from the customer are charged one day rental fee.

Rental Period

The shortest rental period is 24 hours. In case of delays in delivering the vehicle, 1/3 of the

daily rental shall be requested for each extra hour. Daily rental fee shall be requested in deliveries with delays more than 3 hours.

Long-Term Rentals

The minimum rental period is 30 days for longterm rentals. Special price shall be applied.You

may reach SUN Reservation Center from the telephone number (0216) 318 90 40 or you may

call the nearest SUN Office in order to receive further information regarding the price of rental

and conditions of rental

One-Way Rental

One-way rental fee shall be applied in cases where vehicle is delivered in another city than

the city is has been rented regardless of the rental period. You may call SUN Reservation

Center or the nearest SUN Office in order to receive further information regarding the price

of one-way rental.

 

Taking Delivery - Delivery Of The Vehicle

Delivery of the vehicles and taking delivery of the vehicles from our customers is free of charge

from our International Airport Offices that give 24 hours service and also from our other offices

during working hours. The vehicle deliveries that may eventuate excluding the working hours

shall be subjected to additional fee except for the ones that may eventuate at our International

Airport Offices.

Driver’s License - Age Of Usage

It is necessary to be at least 21 years of age for the CDMR-IDMR-IWMR group vehicles, and at

least 25 years of age for the SDMR-SDAR group vehicles, and at least 28 years of age fort the

FDMR-FDAR-SVMR group vehicles and the said requires a driver’s license that is valid for

2 years.

Additional Driver

Drivers besides the lessee and those who are in conformity with the provisions of age usage

shall only be authorized to drive the vehicle on condition that their valid driver’s license and

identity cards are registered to the agreement.The insurances shall be null and void in cases

where it is determined that there is no other registry and the driver who has no registries

has made the accident.

Subjects That Are Included – Not Included To The Price

The prices include the unlimited kilometer driving right, CDW (Collission Damage Waiver with excess),TP (Theft Insurance) and maintenance expenses of the vehicle.

SCDW (Super Insurance), one-way fee ,Gas, bridge, higway fees, traffic tickets,  expenses regarding vehicle delivery and taking delivery of the vehicle and extra requirements such as baby seats,navigation  is not included to the given price.

FUEL

The vehicle is delivered with full fuel tank.

a) If the fuel tank is not full at the time of return, the missing fuel value shall be collected from the customer with a  service fee added.

b)  If the customer pays the full fuel tank value at the time of the rental, the service fee shall not be added and the full fuel tank obligation becomes invalid. At the time of return the value of the existent fuel amount shall not be returned.

Payment - Deposit

All valid credit cards are accepted. An empty credit card slip or a mail order form is being

requested as a deposit.

 

At the beginning of the rental lease does approximate amount and  if the customer not accept super insurance amount, the 500-TL will be blocked from the customer credit card

Traffic Tickets

Most traffic laws in Turkey, 120km/h on motorways, Intercity roads 90km/h and the 50km/h in the city speed is allowed.

Highway and bridge passes through the  (KGS).

Any and all traffic tickets and legal liabilities arising out of the defect of lessee shall be under

the responsibility of the lessee. The traffic tickets that are delivered to SUN following the delivery

of the car shall be reflected to the lessee, and the concerned price shall be collected from the

lessee in cash or by credit card (mail order) payment. Moreover, in case official or legal

authorities hold the vehicle for any reason, this period of time shall be included in the time

period of the agreement.

Important Notes

THE DAMAGES THAT MAY ARİSE DUE TO USAGE,DAMAGES OF İNTERİOR AND EXTERİOR ACCESSORİES SUCH AS; SLİDİNG TAPE; THE LİCENSE FOUND İN THE VEHİCLE, TRAFFİC SET, AND NUMBER PLATE SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER THE SCOPE OF THE İNSURANCE. THE ACCİDENT REPORTS MUST BE DELİVERED TO SUN OFFİCES WİTHİN 48 HOURS.

INSURANCE INFORMATION

The vehicles belonging to the lessor, have been secured with Turkish laws in force and obligatory

and optional insurances in the frame of the insurance regulation.The comprehensive Liability and Property Damage Insurance (indemnity) that does not oblige the customer to pay any additional

premium and the therapy expense of the third persons involved in the accident expect for the

driver, driving the SUN vehicle and material damages, death and disabitiliy expenses shall

all be covered pursuant to the limits designated by the law.

The Lessor shall be liable to pay any and all kinds of expenses incurred by the injury of third persons due to an accident that he/she was driving and also the damages exceeding the limits even if they are late recoursed. Moreover,the moral requirements of the persons that are involved in the said accident or their relatives shall also be covered by the Lessor.

Except fort he compulsory insurances.SUN is putting the herein below stated insurances into

the service of our customers optionally. On condition that the Lessor pays on the front page

of the agreement, he/she may benefit from the guarantees stated in this section.

 

INCLUDED INSURANCE  IN THE CAR RENTAL FEES OF SUN RENT A CAR

 

Collision Damage Waiver with excess (CDW)

Collision Damage Waiver with excess covers damages during collision. In the event that insurance conditions are fulfilled, it covers the damage with 500 TL of damage of post-collision belonging to the customer. This does not cover damages not incurred during collision (parking lot, tyre, window, lights etc.).

 

Theft Insurance (TP)

Theft Insurance (TP) is liable if the vehicle is found within 30 days to pay the amount till that day and if the vehicle is not found within 30 days to pay the amount of 30 days of rental fee as ‘loss compensation’ provided that conditions in Article 4 are fulfilled

 

SUN RENT A CAR VOLUNTARY INSURANCE

Super Insurance (SCDW)

It removes the 500 TL obligation in case of accident and covers damages not incurred by accident (parking lot, windows, light damages etc.) without need for customer notification and police report. In the event that the vehicle is stolen and conditions in Article 4 are fulfilled it covers the work loss compensation. Nevertheless, the customer accepts in advance that if in vehicle theft the insurance companies do not regard the incident as theft and make no payment he/she shall pay for the vehicle value as well as for other damages incurred.

 

 

 

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)

Personal Accident Insurance is the insurance that covers the indemnities within specific limits

cases where the driver and passenger die in the SUN vehicle at a probable accident

Here in Below Stated Matters are Required in Order for the Insurances to be Valid;

Otherwise, any and all kinds of insurances shall be null and void and the Lessor shall be liable

for any and damages;

• Being in conformity with any and all traffic laws and rules,

• Not being rough used and full defect,

• The vehicle not being driven with alcohol and under the affect of other drugs,

• The vehicle must be driven within the legal speed limits,

• The alcohol and traffic reports must be received at the place of the accident (by not

moving the vehicle from its place) and the said reports must be delivered to SUN within 48

hours the latest,

• The driver must not be driven registered to SUN Rental Agreement,

• The vehicle must be driven by the persons who do not have a driving license.

 

Moreover, giving fraudulent representations to SUN representatives, authorized traffic teams,

and local police force and diriving the vehicle on the streets that are closed to traffic end

prohibited to drive, and also the situation of diriving the vehicle with excess load and

passenger shall automatically result with cancellation of the insurance.

It is obligatory to call SUN Center with telephone number (0216) 318 90 40 or SUN

Emergency Service with telephone numbers (0212) 465 36 45 and (0212) 465 36 46 as soon

as possible in order to notify the accident.
